Filters

Filters reduce noise in the Feed by excluding Signals based on a range of criteria including:

  • Locations - limit to Locations Mentioned, or Published Locations
    • Selecting multiple locations in a field will broaden the search to all of those selected locations.
    • Selecting “ X Location Mentioned” and “Y Published Location” will require a document to meet both criteria i.e. and AND match in Boolean operator language
  • Sectors - included only, or exclude Sectors related to the document
  • Publishing Dates - exclude content with no published date
  • Content Types - for example Market Intelligence, Job Posts
  • Specific Topics - added from within Signal Cards

Filters can easily be added or removed, but whilst active, content is blocked and lost. Filters are a good way to reduce noise in a feed, but as they are destructive, it is best to use them with caution and target specific noisey content with each change.
