What are Projects?
Projects are your central research hub in AMPLYFI — a structured workspace that helps you organise, manage, and collaborate on all your market intelligence in one place.
With Projects, you can:
✅ Save and organise Views and Reports
✅ Upload and analyse your own data alongside AMPLYFI-generated insights
✅ Collaborate with teammates on shared research initiatives
✅ Access all saved assets in a central location
Getting Started with Projects
To begin using Projects, navigate to the Projects section in the main navigation menu. Here you'll see any existing Projects or you can create a new one.
Creating a New Project
- Click "Create Project"
- Give your Project a name and optional description
- Click "Create"
Saving assets to Projects
To reuse or reference assets in AMPLYFI later, you must save them to a Project. This enables you to:
- Revisit them to check for updates
- Use them as content sources in other areas like Reports or Generative Research

Project Permissions in AMPLYFI
Projects aren’t just storage spaces, they control who can access your research and how they can use it. Here’s how permissions and visibility work:
1. Project Roles & Membership
- Editor
- Full access: create, view, edit, delete any asset in the project
- Can invite/remove other Editors or Viewers
- Can change project visibility (Private → Public) and delete the project
- Viewer
- Can view and generate reports or templates
- Cannot edit, delete, or change project settings or membership
2. Visibility Settings
- Private (default)
- Only invited members can see or access the project
- Doesn’t appear in global search or source pickers
- Direct links return a “Not Found” error for non-members
- Public (opt-in, irreversible)
- Visible to all users in your AMPLYFI organisation
- Appears in global search and source pickers
Useful for cross-functional or organisation-wide sharing
⚠️ Once a project is Public, it cannot be made Private again.
3. Permissions Inheritance for Assets
Any asset you assign to a project, whether it’s a View, Uploaded Document, Generated Report, Report Template, or Custom Source Bundle inherits the project’s visibility and membership rules:
- Private Projects → asset is private.
- Public Projects → asset is public within your organisation.
Editors on the project automatically gain full control over those assets. Viewers can only read or generate.

4. Collaborating on Team Projects
Projects are ideal for both focused team research and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Private Collaboration
- Share securely with selected teammates
- Maintain control over who can view, comment on, or edit assets
- Public Projects
- Share research org-wide by making your project Public
- Let others discover and build upon your work using global search and source pickers
🫱🏼🫲🏽Collaborative Workflows
- Build on each other’s research by adding complementary Intelligence Views and linking related documents.
- Comment on assets—Views, Reports, Templates, or Bundles—to share insights, raise questions, and record decisions directly in context.
- Track progress with inline comments and version history, so everyone stays aligned on the latest updates.
Uploading Your Own Data
In addition to AMPLYFI-generated insights, you can upload your own data:
- Navigate to your Project
- Click the Upload Icon from the top right
- Select your files or paste URLs
- The system will process your data and make it available alongside your other intelligence
