Saving Assets to Projects
In AMPLYFI, Report Templates, Explore Views, Custom Bundles and Generated Reports
can be saved to a Project. Projects act as containers that define where assets live, how they're organised, and who can access them.
Why Saving to a Project Is Important
Saving assets to a Project ensures:
- โ Your work is organised and easy to find later
- ๐ Access is properly managed based on the Projectโs visibility and membership
- ๐ The asset can be reused in Reports, Generative Research, or shared with your team
Think of a Project as the "home" for your work โ without a home, your assets canโt be accessed, reused, or shared effectively.
- Generated Reports (optional) โ Enables scheduling, version control, collaboration, and reuse
- Intelligence Views โ Required to reuse Views or reference them as content sources in Reports
- Custom Bundles (optional) โ Lets you scope bundles privately within a Project or make them org-wide
- Report Templates (optional) โ Allows use of project-scoped sources within templates and makes templates reusable by other project members
How to Save Assets to a Project
- From Explore (Views): Click Save View, then select or create a Project
- Generated Reports: Click the Project Icon in the report toolbar and assign it to a Project
- When Creating a Report Template (optional): Select Project-scoped, then assign it to a Project during setup
- When Building a Custom Bundle (optional): Choose Project-scoped, then assign it to a Project during setup
Important Notes
- Assets inherit the visibility of their assigned Project (Private or Public)
- If you want to collaborate or reuse an asset, saving it to the correct Project is essential
